What You’ll Learn
Every module is built around one goal: safe, effective, confident practice from day one.

- Dermatological Pathologies — recognise the skin conditions you’ll see most often in practice.
- Infection Prevention & Control — hygiene and sterilisation standards that keep every patient safe.
- Nail & Skin Dystrophies — identify and treat the full range of common nail and skin conditions.
- Diabetic Foot Care — provide safe, sensitive care for higher-risk patients — one of the most in-demand skills in foot health.
- Recording & Communication — keep accurate clinical notes and communicate clearly with patients and other professionals.
- Therapeutics, Medicaments & Instruments — master the tools and treatments of everyday foot care.
- Setting Up Your Own Practice — the business fundamentals to launch and grow a practice of your own.
Real Patients, Real Confidence
Theory is only half the story. Your 9 days of practical training take place in our welcoming training clinic in Shifnal, Shropshire, where you’ll assess and treat between 20 and 35 patients presenting a wide variety of foot conditions. By the time you qualify, treating patients won’t be something you’ve read about — it will be something you’ve done, many times, with an experienced tutor by your side.
A Qualification You Can Trust
Awarded by Innovate Awarding and recognised on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), the diploma enables you to register as a Foot Health Practitioner and work in clinics, in domiciliary (home-visit) care, or in your own business.
